Advanced Open Water Diver Course

Diving Frontiers Advanced Diver Course introduces you to several specialized diving activities.
It allows you to become familiar with diving in different conditions and gets you into a wider variety of aquatic environments.
The course focuses on the diving adventures with little class room sessions.
Home study allows the course to be extremely flexible and can usually accommodate even the busiest schedule.
Five dives are made in different areas such as deep diving, night diving, etc This Advanced Diver training certification allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 30 m.

Two options available; Perth Based Course or HMAS Swan Trip.

1. Perth Based Course - progressive course - See Below
This course enables divers to complete their Advanced Open Water Diver Course over a period of weekends or even months. Each training segment allows you to enjoy some very interesting types of diving and spreads the payment and enjoyment of a period of time. Sections can be completed in any order.

2. HMAS Swan Trip Dunsborough - click here for details on this course

This course enables divers to enjoy a great weekend away diving one of the best wrecks along our coast. trips run approximately once a month.

 
PAYMENT

$100.00 deposit on receipt of manuals and the balance at the commencement of the course.

 
PREREQUISITES  

PADI Open Water Certification or equivalent - It is NOT necessary for students to have completed any additional dives since the PADI Open Water Course and it is acceptable for them to start their Advanced Diver Course training immediately following completion of the Open Water.
STRUCTURE- PROGRESSIVE ADVANCED COURSE Course Dates

Dives conducted apporximately every second weekend however, can be dependant on weather conditions.

   
Section one - Day one  
8.00am - 3.00pm Two Boat Dives departing from Fishermans Boat harbour Fremantle. 		Underwater Photography and Enriched Air Dive
   
   
Section Two - Day Two - Saturday Only  
8.00am - 3.00pm Two dives at Rottnest Island departing from Fishermans Boat harbour Fremantle.		 Deep Dive and Navigation Dive
   

Section Three - Thursday Evening
6.00pm - 9.45pm. Meet at Dive Shop Prior to departure to Dive Site.

WHAT'S INCLUDED Course Dates

 

  • Instruction by a Experienced Dive Instructors.
  • Advanced Open Water Certification to 30 meters

  What's not included:
 
  • Scuba Equipment - available at a discounted rate of $30.00 per day
  • Students also need to supply Slate, Knife and whistle. If students are using their own Scuba Diving Equipment it must have a dive computer and a compass.
  • Torch Hire - :Large night Dviing torches available for $15.00
  • Batteries for Torches. Students need to supply 4 x "D " Size batteries.

 
LOCATION Course Dates

The course commences at Either at the Diving Frontiers PADI Dive Center located at Unit 7 / 89 Erindale Road Balcatta, for the Course conducted in Perth or 9.30pm on a Friday evening in Dunsborough at a Location advised by your Instructors.
