3.Swan River Night Dive
|
| Why: |
Night diving for crabs and prawns in the river is a very popular activity with many of Perth's divers.
Once you've brought home a bag of fresh King Prawns or a bucket of delicious Blue Manna Crabs you'll begin to understand why.
Also appealing is having the opportunity to go diving with some friends mid week, no matter what the weather.
As you can imagine night diving has it's own set of problems. To do this activity safely and prepare you for the experience we recommend training and supervision by an instructor.
Most diver's find night diving very enjoyable as you can see many strange and interesting creatures that are only about at night.
Another wonderful experience found at night is being able to approach and even " TOUCH " many fish while they are in a state of sleep, provided of course, you know what your touching. |
