Our Shops
Diving Frontiers was established in 1993 and is one of the leading Scuba Diving Stores in Perth. Originally developed to promote Scuba diving education at an affordable cost while maintaining high training standards with an emphasis on the fun of diving. Founded by Glenn Bailey who has been an active diver since the late seventies. He wanted to share his passion for diving with others. Today, Diving Frontiers still offers some of the most affordable Scuba diver courses from beginners courses through to Divemaster and technical diving and also has a vast selection of competitive priced dive equipment, servicing and hire.
We have two stores one in Balcatta and the other in Ocean Keys, Mindarie.

Glenn Bailey Owner/ Shop Manager - Ocean Keys Mindarie Store - Commenced diving over 28 years ago. PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer,Emergency Response Instructor, Specialty Instructor Qualifications in, Enriched Air, Wreck penetration, Deep Diving , Enriched Air Nitrox Blender, TDI Qualifications in Advanced Nitrox, Decompression procedures, Full Cave, Trimix and advanced Trimix, Trimix Blenders Certification. CDAA qualifications in Cavern, Sinkhole and Cave.
Equipment Technician Qualifications in Aquanaut, Sea Quest, Aqualung, Mares, Dacor, Apollo, Oceanic, Genesis and Boss.
Some of his memorable dives include a 1.3 kilometer penetration of Cockle biddy Cave on the Nullarbor Plains, 65 meter trimix dives, and deep penetration Cave Dives in Mount Gambier South Australia.

Glenn is an active diver and made over 6000 dives, his passions are Wreck Diving, Deep Diving and Cave diving. His joy is to show others the wonder and adventure of the underwater world and share his passion for diving. He is unpretentious and always willing to share his knowledge and experience of Diving and Diving Products.
   

Darren Beadle - Shop Manager - Balcatta Store. An experienced Padi Diving Instructor, Darren is a great personality who has dived many fantastic locations all over the world. He has very high standards as a trainer and your safety is his highest priority. Most find Darren’s humor and easy going nature very enjoyable. A close second to safety is his passion for diving and his genuine concern to make your diving a fun experience.

Darren especially enjoys wreck diving and deep diving and his most memorable dives include the SS President Coolidge, Vanuatu, the SS Yongala, Townsville, the Navy Pier, Exmouth and Shark feeding in the Mamanuca Islands, Fiji.

 

Jennifer Kimmell - Senior Instructor Balcatta Store - PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer - originally from Canada Jennifer's enthusiasm for Scuba Diving is infectious. She is an energetic and motivated woman who has a background in Paramedic training and has had experience in diving many parts of the world

Jenny's most memorable dives include the HMCS Chaudiere Wreck in Sechelt in Vancouver Canada and the soft corals and marine life of the Muirion Islands in Exmouth W.A..

 
Stuart Reid - Skipper/Engineer - Blue Frontier SPV 911 - Ocean Keys, Mindarie Store.- Experienced Skipper and Scuba Diver. Stuart has worked as a professional Skipper for the last 6 years with different operations throughout the world. He has a Master Class 5 and Marine Engine Driver plus Yacht master qualifications.

Mitch Howard - Skipper/Engineer/ Dive Master- Southern Jaegar SPV 299 - Balcatta Store.
Experienced Skipper and Dive Master. Mitch has worked as a professional Skipper for many years and has also had his own charter boat which he operaed along the North Coast up to the Kimberleys. He has also worked with major Charter companies and large vessels in WA. He has a Master Class 5 commercial and Marine Engine Driver grade 2.

 
Beau Roberts - Dive Master / Service Technician - Beau has been involved with the shop for nearly three years and has a background in Marine tourisim. He enjoys diving and has a Wreck penertration qualification.
Phil Schupp - PADI Staff Instructor - Balcatta - Part time Instructor. Phil has been involved in the Diving Industry for over 10 years and has trained numerous divers throughout Australia. His "Staff Instructor rating" places him in the mostly highly quailifed Dive Instructors in W.A. and is one of the most professional Instructors in Australia and an important member of our strong Dive Instructor team.
Brian Nielsen- PADI Dive Instructor - Ocean Keys Mindarie - Part time Instructor. Brian works as a Professional Saturation Diver and teaches recreational diving part time. He is very patient and an excellent Instructor who is obviously very experienced in the Ocean enviroment.
Jason Claircoates -Shop Manager / Master Scuba Diver Trainer Instructor/ Service Technician - Part time Instructor - with extensive diving experience throughout Asia.
