Gemini Wreck - Mindarie

Entry Exit Pont: Boat dive and best to leave from Mindarie although it is also possible from two rocks marina.

The Dive Site: Wreck is approximately 36 meters long in 30 meters Sandy bottom - refer NOTe below about anchoring. The wreck has penetration areas are full of silt at each end and should not be entered, Significant number of crayfish are also found on the wreck however usually hard to get to under the plates of steel. Torch is recommended for this dive.

Dive Site Rating: Advanced Divers only. 30 meters.

What's there: Samson fish and Bat fish. Lots of awesome soft pink and white soft corals on the northern side. There is also a plaque on a concrete block on the outside of the wreck which you can find further information about its history. NOTE:Currents can be strong so ensure the boat is anchored on the wreck. If it is in the sand it will more than likely drag and its a long swim home. Safety sausage is recommended and person to stay on the boat.
